In every company, complaints are very usual and these are being valued. There may be times that your blood goes up to your head when dealing with irate customers but if an agent was able to handle it well, that’s where good customer service takes place.  It is important to remain courteous and polite even if customers are having a bad day; go out of your way to make them feel comfortable and always thank them every time you get a chance.    Another important principle of good customer service is that as a call center agent, you are considered as an internal customer as well. Inbound call center agents will not deliver good customer service unless they are properly trained. Thus, an equal effort of the management must be made in attracting and motivating them. Another essential factor in delivering good customer service is a well designed product and process, just like in Philippines call center where it has a high quality phone system so that the customer will always have a clear communication.


Always keep in mind that everyone expects good customer service everywhere. When you purchase a food delivery, you expect it to be on time. When you buy coffee, you expect it to be hot. When you eat in a high class restaurant, you expect the service to be really exceptional. We become frustrated if our expectations are not met. This is how important a good customer service is and this will make a company stand out from other competitors.
